It is utterly important to know to which keywords and on which page your Asin ranks in order to make your product perform better. However, even more important is to know to which searchwords your competition ranks. With this approach you will almost certainly find new words where your competition ranks very well and your Asin doesn’t at all.

The following example shows that if a customer searches for “usb kabel” Asin XXX1 (Your product) will be displayed on page 4 and Asin XXX2(Competition) on Page 1. The Searchword “Usb Kabel extra lang” shows that Asin XXX1 is not ranking on the first 100 pages while Asin XXX2 is ranking on Page 1. This means, that you found a new longtailkeyword you don’t rank to with high potential.
