Hire short story writers service on the internet. please enable javascript to view the comments powered by disqus. disqus<|endoftext|>this is a rush transcript. copy may not be in its final form. amy goodman: this is democracy now!, democracynow.org, the war and peace report. well, as we continue the conversation by talking about the significance of the iran nuclear deal, the white house this week published a new report that concluded the threat of iranian weapons program is 'overstated.' that's according to the new york times. on monday, senator mark kirk of illinois, a republican member of the senate armed services committee, said the report was 'full of holes.' the report's main findings include a lack of evidence iran has made a breakthrough in building a nuclear weapon. while it does conclude, however, 'the iaea has found some indications that iran may be advancing its nuclear program to develop nuclear weapons,' that doesn't rule out that iran could still be a decade away from developing nuclear weapons because it would require significant technical advances at its nuclear plants, a move the iaea would find very difficult to stop. kirk said he would introduce a new resolution to force a vote on iran's nuclear program in the senate when congress returns from july. we'll be speaking with a number of our guests about the iran nuclear deal this hour. we'll check in with former secretary of state henry kissinger talking about the possibility of a nuclear-weapons-free world.
